A company website is a presentation site you run from the same dashboard as the rest of your business. It is separate from the online store: there is no cart or checkout, just the pages that introduce your business — what you offer, who you are, where to find you and how to get in touch. Any business can have one, whether or not it uses Posflect's registers, and a business can be created as "Website Only" when a website is all it needs.
You create a website from the Websites screen, choose a subdomain on Posflect (and optionally your own domain — see Custom Domains), and pick a template made for your type of business. Your content then lives on the Website Content screen, in six kinds: services, news, team members, customer testimonials, gallery pictures and branches. Each service and news article gets its own page; team members, testimonials and pictures appear in sections you place on any page. News articles can be given a future publish date so they appear on schedule.
Every item has its own picture, short summary and full text, can be switched on or off, and can be marked as featured. A service or article can also use a page you designed in the page builder instead of its plain text, and every item can be translated into each of your languages. Visitors reach you through a contact form whose messages arrive in your dashboard, and a map and branch list show where to find you.
