Every website and store starts on a free address under Posflect, a subdomain such as yourname.posflect.com. To use your own domain instead, open the website or store's settings and choose one of three options next to the domain field.
Use a domain I already own is free. You point your domain's DNS at Posflect as shown on screen, and once it resolves, Posflect issues an SSL certificate and links the domain to your site.
Buy a new domain checks the domain's availability and shows the price before you commit. You pay through Posflect's checkout; only after the payment is confirmed does Posflect register the domain, set its DNS to your site and link it. Transfer a domain in works the same way, using the authorization (EPP) code from your current registrar; transfers can take longer because the other registrar has to release the domain.
Each domain order has a status you can follow — pending payment, paid, registering, DNS set and active — and an order that fails shows a clear reason. The extensions offered and the price depend on the registrar and on Posflect's settings for your account.
