A template gives a new website its header, home page and footer, already laid out for the kind of business it serves. When a website is created, it is filled with sample services, news, team members and testimonials to match, so you edit real-looking content instead of facing a blank page. Templates are available for a general business, retail shops, restaurants, restaurants that also retail, salons, beauty centers, dental clinics, pharmacies, online brands, and maintenance and home-services companies.
The Website Templates screen shows every template with a live preview. The one that matches your company's business type is marked Recommended, and the template your website is using now is marked Current. Choosing a template applies its design to your website. Changing the template changes the design only — your services, news and pictures stay as they are — and re-applying the current template replaces any design changes you made, so it asks for a second click to confirm.
A template also suggests a pair of fonts, applied only if you haven't chosen site fonts yet, and comes with entrance animations already set. Both can be changed afterwards. The sample text is written in English and is meant to be replaced with your own.
