posflect keeps every signed-in user informed of system-generated alerts through a notification bell in the app header. Today's alert types include low-stock warnings, raised automatically as sales bring a product's stock below its configured threshold, and clinic recall reminders for a patient who's due back. Each notification carries optional context — which product, branch, or customer it concerns — so it's actionable at a glance, not just a generic message.
This first version is a shared, company-wide feed rather than a per-user inbox: any signed-in user can see every notification and mark it (or all of them) as read. New notifications reach an open browser tab instantly over a live connection; if that connection ever drops, the notification bell also polls for updates on a regular interval, so nothing important is missed even on a flaky connection.
