Every website and store has a site status: Live, Maintenance, or Coming soon. In Maintenance or Coming-soon mode, every address on the site shows a status page instead of the normal pages. Posflect provides a ready-made status page for each mode — a centered layout with your logo, an icon, a headline and a message — which you can edit in the page builder, or you can choose any other page you have designed.
You stay in control while visitors see the status page. From the settings, Open the site as owner creates a private preview link that lasts twelve hours and lets you browse the real site normally; a bar at the top reminds you that the mode is on and lets you leave the preview.
While a mode is on, search engines are told not to index the status page and the sitemap is emptied, so your listings are not replaced by an under-maintenance page. Keep maintenance windows short. The status changes what visitors see; it is not a security block, so it does not stop orders sent directly to a store's API.
You'll find the status controls on the Website Content screen (Maintenance & coming soon), in the website's settings form, and on the storefront settings page.
