Websites can include a search widget — either a search icon that opens a full search window (also reachable with Ctrl or Cmd + K) or an inline search field with live results. Results are grouped by type: services, news, pages, team members, gallery, testimonials and branches, and each opens the right page. Pressing Enter without choosing a result opens a results page with everything found.
Search understands Arabic as people actually type it. Diacritics and letter stretching are ignored, the common spelling variants of alef, ya and ta marbuta are treated as the same letter, Arabic and Persian digits are treated as ordinary digits, and the Arabic definite article is optional, so a word typed with or without it finds the same results. Every word you type must appear in an item, in any order, and results are ranked so that titles count for more than descriptions and body text. Translated content is searched in the visitor's language as well as the original.
Search only shows what a visitor could see anyway: active, published content — never hidden items, and never the pages used as the header, footer, home page or status pages.
